Day 1 – Arrival

You will take short 55-minute flight from Helsinki airport to Savonlinna, the heart of Lake Saimaa. Our driver will be waiting for you when you land. After a 45 minute drive, you’ll arrive to the beautiful Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän in the village of Porosalmi. This will be our base camp for the upcoming days…

Day 2 – Jarvisydan

After a tasty breakfast, the guides will pick you up from your rooms and we’ll take a short drive to our safari house. There you will find a labeled set of gear for the trip. The gear will be chosen prior to your arrival. Our guides will make sure, the gear fits and is appropriate for the forecasted weather of the week…

Day 3 – Jarvisydan – Punkaharju

we ride through narrow canals and open waters just before we
reach one of the most magical points of the route, Raikuu Canal. Raikuu Canal was built by locals in 1750 and its reachable only by small watercrafts. The small canal has a narrow path through the lake grass. The canal ends on Puruvesi Lake which is one of the cleanest and clearest lakes in Finland…

Day 4- Punkaharju – Savonlinna

On the final day of our safari, we enjoy a nice breakfast before heading to our next destination. Quickly, the scenery become more rugged and the shorelines reflect awe-inspiring rock formations. This scenery will follow us until our lunch stop in the city of Savonlinna. You will get to experience it from a unique perspective from the lake.

Day 5 – Transfers to Airport

Unfortunately our time together has come to an end. Our drivers will take you back to the airport. Fortunately you won’t be leaving empty handed, but with life long experiences in the serenity of Finnish nature, driving jet skis on the most unique lake complex in the world and hopefully some new friends!
